The Communication Research Institute of William Penn University is a non-profit educational organization in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Working in close partnership with the William Penn University Digital Communication Department our mission is to inform and educate the people of Mahaska county on the issues and opportunities in their immediate area. All CRI programming is televised through Mahaska Communications Group on MCG cable channel 12. Along with televised transmission CRI also uploads all of its original content to this website www.CRItv.org, also known as www.criwmpennu.org.
The Senior Producers of CRI are all post-collegiates who receive compensation for their work; however, CRI works with college students at William Penn University in Oskaloosa as well as Video Production students at Oskaloosa High School. If you live in the Oskaloosa area and feel qualified to work at CRI feel free to contact us. CRI currently produces five regularly produced shows:
CRI Programming may be downloaded and used under Creative Commons licensing rules; if you use our video or material please let CRI know and give CRI credit accordingly. Visitors to CRItv.org are welcome to comment on any story; however if your comments are deemed inappropriate or disrespectful your comment will be taken down with no explanation as to why.
Programs produced by CRI also air on MCG Channel 12 in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
