Maureen McKamey

Senior Producer

Maureen McKamey joined the CRI team as a Senior Producer in the summer of 2011. Having just graduated with a B.A. in Broadcast News from Drake University in Des Moines, she's thrilled to be starting her reporting career in Iowa.

Maureen's first experience with the world of TV news was as an intern with WCCO, the CBS affiliate in the Twin Cities. She has also worked as a commercial producer and freelance editor for Silverwings Productions in West Des Moines. At Drake, Maureen reported and produced for DrakeLINE, the university's weekly news program.

As a Minnesota native and avid sports fan, Maureen loves watching the Wild, Vikings, and Twins. You might spot her at an i-Cubs or Des Moines Buccaneers game, too. On days when her favorite teams aren't playing, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and curling up on a comfy couch with a good book and a latte.
