Teresa Nguyen

Production Assistant

Teresa began her stint with the CRI in August 2009 as an intern during her senior year at William Penn University. She was Editor-in-Chief of the William Penn Chronicle in 2009 and also studied digital broadcast. Upon graduating with a B.A. in journalism in May 2010, she stayed on at the CRI as a full-time producer.

As a general news reporter and photographer, she also produces and edits segments for CRI's other programs such as Oskaloosa Sports Pulse, The Kids Show and Oskaloosa Today.

Teresa came to Oskaloosa all the way from the sandy beaches of southern California. She graduated from Arroyo High School in 2006 and spent two years at Rio Hondo College completing her general education. Her passion for basketball eventually brought her to William Penn University where she competed for the Lady Statesmen in 2008-09

In her spare time she enjoys shooting hoops, biking, exploring the great outdoors, discovering new art and music, and a good cup of coffee.
