Off to the best start in school history, the Penn men's basketball team had reeled off 11 straight wins heading in to last Sunday's BIG game against Grinnell College. If you've been living under a rock and haven't heard, G.C. is the home of

NCAA record holder Jack Taylor. Taylor made headlines a few days before the matchup with the Statesmen after scoring 138 points in a single game. So in front of a packed house of nearly 12-hundred with several cameras running, including one held by CRI and OSP's Jason Madison, would Penn remain unblemished and trip up the overnight sensation? Let's find out.

After last Sunday's victory, Penn met up with the Central Dutch in Pella on Wednesday for another non-conference clash. In a close contest Penn earned its 13th win of the year, defeating the Dutch 92-83. With its flawless record intact, WPU jumped from its national preseason ranking of 19th to number-7. The last time Penn was in the top-10 was two years ago when Henry's squad was 9th in the nation.
